UPDATE: The posters, application, our Facebook page, and all our other materials say that applications are due by March 10th. That’s still true if you’re turning in your application to the guidance office. But if you’re mailing your application to the address printed on the form, you have until March 16th to get the application postmarked.

We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2010 Clambake Society Scholarship: Gabrielle Katherine-Awesome Boehm! On May 16th, the fourth annual Clambake Society Scholarship was presented to Gabby at the RHS Awards Night. While she owes much of her success to her trusty steed, Senor X, he was unable to attend. The applicants this year were better than ever, and we thank everybody for their great entries. While we won’t be releasing actual vote totals, the civics-minded among you might like to know that we use instant-runoff voting to make our final selection, and this year’s results were a textbook example of why it’s valuable. It was truly a great competition — four different people were in first place at different stages. Thanks, congratulations, and good luck to all of you.
On May 15th, The Clambake Society threw our first annual fundraiser dinner at the Rhinelander Country Club. In attendance were the top three applicants for the 2010 scholarship, and the first-ever recipients of the 1986 Ten Pin Classic trophy for Fifth Place: Andrew Ruetten, Joel McReynolds, and Gabrielle Boehm. There were also appearances by most of the Rhinelander glitterati, about 18 members of the Clambake Society, and a single paparazzo.
In Spring 2010, market leader Clambake Society Scholarship continues to build on its proven record of world-class innovation with a brand new feature, the Donate button. Check it out at the Donate page. We think you’re going to love it.
The 2011 Clambake Society Fundraiser has been officially announced! As suspected, it will be May 14th at the Rhinelander Country Club, starting at 6:30 PM. Help us put one or both of the R’s back in Fundraiser! Check out our Evite for more information, or email us at fundraiser@clambakesociety.org
