Announcing! Spring Soirée And Cornhole Clash For The Kids, at ArtStart, May 17, 2025.
We’re partnering with ArtStart Rhinelander to bring you a whole new public event, with live music, art, games, food, and fantastic silent auction prizes. And a cornhole tournament! All to benefit The Kids of Rhinelander through our scholarship fund. We’ll be kicking it off with the cornhole tournament at 4 pm, award our 2025 scholarship for $3000 to a fantastic RHS student around 7, and end the night with a live band, Rootshine. In between, browse ArtStart’s stellar art gallery, bid on the silent auction, hang out in the outdoor beer and wine garden, enjoy the food and the company.
General admission will be $10 and include one drink. Two-person cornhole team registrations are $30, and there will be cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place. More details will be coming later, but you can reserve your ticket and register your team now!
Clambake Society Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated solely to giving scholarships to creative and impressive Rhinelander High School students of good character, and building an endowment so we can keep doing this forever. As of 2025, we’ll have given $41,250 to 19 students who have gone on to careers from graphic design to psychiatry to music production. We’re a group of friends who mostly graduated RHS from 1992-1995. Most of us moved away for years, and some have moved back. But for all of us, Rhinelander will always be our hometown. We started the scholarship as a way of giving back to the place that made us who we are, honoring its great school system and teachers, and in the hopes of supporting what makes Rhinelander so special among towns of its size, and the outsized arts and music energy it radiates. We also want to show students a way to move forward in life with the opportunities college gives you, yet remain tightly connected to your hometown.
